More DescriptionThis book by Professor Román José Duque Corredor, is one of his last contributions to the long-awaited process of transition to democracy that Venezuela requires, and has among its purposes, to contribute to rescue the system of freedoms, constitutional guarantees and human rights and the reinsertion of the Venezuelan State in international organizations for the protection of human rights. He insisted on the need to investigate and repair the damage caused by violations of these rights, proposing political and legislative guidelines for the restoration of their exercise to victims. This book on restorative justice in agrarian matters, aims to analyze the process of restitution and reparation that constitutes restorative justice, and that as a duty of the State is based on articles 2, 19, 22, 23, 27, 29 and 30 of the Venezuelan Constitution. Within the process of democratic transition, such a task of restorative justice is a constitutional mandate not fulfilled by the Venezuelan State that must be made effective, as a component of the reinstitutionalization of the justice system proposed by the Constitutional Bloc of Venezuela, which is considered decisive for the integral development of the country, within the democratic and social Rule of law State.
