But, the main goal was to get back to one another so they could save Evan from the Hell he'd have to go through. But, the main goal was to get back to one another so they could save Evan from the Hell he'd have to go through. Book two, Buried in the Shadows, starts a little over a year and half after the dock incident. Several of them, due to stress, are beginning to unravel and fear their deepest secrets will spill from them as time wears them down. They only hope to get to the kid before they do. Relationships, old and new, struggle to form, and survive the hardships they go through. Will they keep everything together keep their secrets buried? Only one secret, Evan's secret, needs to stand against all odds, so that Lavonia as a country can continue.
