It is in this period of our lives that we begin to make the decisions, habits and attitudes that will dictate who we will be as adults.Laying the Foundation is a six unit course for middle schoolers that focuses on managing this transition and building a strong foundation for being a strong, Christian adult, focusing on six elements, Courage, Faith, Submission, Love, Purity of thought, mind, and body, and Integrity.This first book focuses on courage. Life can be frightening at times. We all face difficult situations where it takes courage to do what's right. This book teaches students how to act courageously in the face of fear and helps middle schoolers begin habits of acting courageously in the face of fear.
