Beginning readers read the word cards (part 1), match them to the photo cards (part 2), and then use the control cards (part 3, photo and word on one card) to check their own work. The Transportation 3-part Card packet contains vivid photos of the vehicles we see on the street, rails, and water including ambulance, fire truck, tractor trailer, train, boat, and more. To facilitate the unique needs of French instruction, all words are preceeding by a gender-defining article. 36 cards per packet including 12 Word Cards (approx. 3 2/3¿ x 1 1/8¿), 12 Photo Cards (approx. 3 2/3¿ x 3¿), and 12 Control Cards (approx. 3 2/3¿ x 4 1/3¿) plus a sample lesson plan for teacher/parent reference. All photos clearly isolate their subject. All cards are laminated with a heavy 5 mil laminate, have rounded corners, and are packaged in a sturdy reclosable bag for easy storage.
