More DescriptionFor many years we have had a desire to put together a history that would let our children know of their family background, where their roots are, of their wonderful ancestors who sacrificed so much for them. These great ancestors who gave up so much and passed on to their posterity the gospel of Jesus Christ their fathers had accepted in the old country. We have often wondered, how can we repay them? Of course, this would be impossible when you think about it; however, it is possible for us to reveal their stories of humility, courage, and sacrifice, to incorporate their great examples of honesty, integrity, faithfulness and a willingness to serve others, to our posterity. It is our wish that we let their light shine forth in our own lives and that our posterity may grasp onto the spirit of their light. We wish to thank our children, grandchildren, siblings, and extended families; others for the spirit of cooperation and willingness to help us in gathering the material needed for this book. We especially wish to thank our sons-in-law: Jeffrey Bushnell and Christopher Holmes for helping us figure out the computer and getting material off from it and using correct programs. Chris came at a moments notice to help us out of problems which we appreciate and love him so much for; also Jeff, who talked problems through with us over the phone. Our daughter Sherry Roper Bushnell helped us to edit material for this book and our last book about our LDS missions. Information for this book has come from published and unpublished histories of the families that are written herein.
