On September 2, 2012, Professor Ole Lando (Emeritus at the Law Department of Copenhagen Business School) celebrated his 90th birthday. This festschrift honors Professor Lando's outstanding lifelong contributions to the development of international contract law and the conflict of laws. Ole Lando has received the German Alexander von Humboldt Research Award for Foreign Humanists, as well as the Nordic Lawyers' prize, and he is Honorary Doctor at three European universities.
