More DescriptionThis is the story of Eugene A. Orgill, with different contributers, myself, his daugher, Bonnie and Amy, my mother Maurine, and his Aunt Hannah Wilson, who raised him. Swedish converts to the LDS Church, Aunt Hannah tells of their conversion in Sweden and crossing the ocean in a ship, with many trials. Gene serves in World War II, in the jungles of New Guinea, and leads a hard life without a father, and a mother. His Aunt Hannah raised him, he taught me many things, and helped me in my own troubled moments. Mom and I left California and Canada, to make our home in Bingham Canyon. Bonnie shares her early feelings in our home, Maurine, Gene, myself Joe, and Colin, Amy and Bonnie, the old mining town of Bingham. Gene was a locomotive engineer, which he loved. Colin and I roamed the Oquirrh mountains which surround the giant Kennecott mine.
