More DescriptionThis book, called 'linguascapes', creates a new interdisciplinary aesthetic; in which the reader or spectator becomes the creator of the image. The intention is to empower the reader to create their own imaginary landscapes via disruptive sentences. Individuals are constantly bombarded by images from various media platforms; I feel that these poetic interventions allow the reader or viewer to create a mental synthesis and reclaim their own consciousness. The book consists of over 60 'linguascapes' each with a short paragraph that introduces a surreal image in the final sentence. The 'linguascape' is repeated after the introductory paragraph for emphasis. It is innovative and highly entertaining. The linguascapes here are in book form but my art work could just as easily be presented as large artworks, projections or fly-posted in public places. This method could be used in the marketing of the book. All I ask is that you read them and evaluate my claims.
