After some intense investigation, Pam uncovers information that supports Julius' claim of innocence and simultaneously discovers an attraction for the man she had vowed to convict of murder. Unfortunately, her attraction to Julius will put her right in the path of an obsessed murderer who will do anything to have Julius for herself - the person who has promised to literally love him to death.The story begins with a short illustration of Pam's internal struggle between a successful professional career and the loneliness and absence of a meaningful relationship inherit with her career ambitions. She tries to maintain internal balance by relying on the memory of encouragement; and the strength and will to survive instilled in her by her late grandmother.Julius is haunted by his inability to remember details about the day his wife, Tiara, was murdered.
