Matthew 25:23So, if one of our eternal earthly assignments is to love our spouse, how "well" are we doing that? How can we know if we are know, now, if we are doing a good job obeying God's call on our life? This journal seeks to take you on a journey to deepen your connection with your soulmate. The topics of the Discovering You devotionals are planned to explore all facets of intimacy - spiritual, emotional, intellectual, experiential, and physical. The weekly Heart Connect questions are to maintain the connection with more than life's busy to do list. But, you get to do that too, by highlighting the weekly schedule. While not mandatory before you start your journey, it is highly recommended to take a Retreat, away from your busy lives, to discuss what is important to both of you in your marriage. You will have an opportunity to hear your spouse's heart about the treasure you find in each other. Sometimes those treasures are buried in a field (Matthew 13:44) and it takes some digging to uncover the hidden gems inside of each other. Digging deep into your own soul, risking vulnerability, creates a safe place to trust and a brave place to share.
