More DescriptionGrey Owl Academy is in a state of civil war. For three year the students of this school have gone to class armed with books and body armor. On one side of "the war" are the athletes and the rich kids. Most schools would have elevated them to the point of being untouchable, but Grey Owl academy is different. For the last three years, they have been losing this conflict and with every passing day they become more and more desperate. Magician is intelligent, seductive, and deadly. Under his leadership, the majority of students in Grey Owl have started standing up for themselves, but at the cost of their free will. Magician's schemes have left several students wounded and scarred, but his true intentions are only known to a few people. Now, as year four of this war begins, Magician's victory is drawing near. The leaders of Magician's opposition have begun their final stand. Each of them has a unique past with Magician and they know how deadly he can be. However, each of Magician's opponents possesses memories which prevent them from developing their own allies within the student body. At this point, during the final year of this conflict, Jeremy Sterling enters the school. He has a dark past of his own, and has come to Grey Owl seeking an escape from the violence that plagues the public school system. Unfortunately, the violence he has seen is nothing compared to what the students of Grey Owl have in store for him. Guided by luck, either good or bad, he finds himself living in the very same room as Magician. Upon learning about the war, he expects Magician to attempt to recruit him, but he finds himself being ignored by the enigmatic boy. However, Magician's enemies see Jeremy as the ideal recruit due to his room assignment. Jeremy, having no intention to get on the bad side of his dangerous roommate, decides to distance himself from both sides of the war. However, Magician's friends aren't about to let a potential spy so close to their leader, and soon Jeremy realizes that he'll have to pick a side if he want to remain safe in this school. Yet, when both sides are fighting for control, choosing a side can be difficult. Unfortunately, the students of Grey Owl are more than willing to choose a side for him.
