When we look specifically at the data round discipline, we find that non compliance and disrespect, are the two most common issues that teachers express the greatest frustration with on a day to day basis.Teachers often struggle to maintain classroom order when students aredisruptive or noncompliant. These students are often time easily agitated andthus seemingly innocuous events like asking questions, making requests, giving directions, and especially delivering consequences for inappropriate or noncompliant behavior serve as triggers. Once triggered subsequent explosivebehavior is difficult to curtail and can lead to even more serious behavior issuesor classroom disruptions.In this module teachers will learn the necessary tools to:Decrease student non-compliant behavior.Intervene early in an escalation.Identify environment factors that can be manipulated.Identify replacement behaviors that can be taught (&serve same function as problem.This module also comes with a pre and post test which will enhance teachersgrasp of reciprocal teaching and it's most vital skills.
