They deal with the German agrarian and industrial systems from a comparative point of view, focusing on the comparison between Germany and the USA. Both texts, which were presumably written in 1905 and translated into English in 1906, belong to MWG I/8. In accordance with the editorial rules of the Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe, they are presented here as a supplement to this volume. German description: Das Erganzungsheft enthalt zwei bisher unbekannte Texte Max Webers in englischer Sprache, die im Jahr 1907/08 in einer amerikanischen Enzyklopadie erschienen sind. Sie behandeln die deutsche Agrar- und Industrieverfassung in vergleichender Perspektive, wobei der Vergleich Deutschland - USA im Mittelpunkt steht. Die beiden Texte, die vermutlich 1905 geschrieben und 1906 ins Englische ubersetzt wurden, gehoren nach ihrer Provenienz in den Band MWG I/8. Sie werden hier gemass den Editionsregeln der Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe als Nachtrag zu diesem Band der Offentlichkeit prasentiert.
