Self-Care seems to be a new trend. However, it is not. It is a principal that is necessary to love others and to experience the wholeness needed to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. Self-Care is not a selfish position or act. In fact, it is quite the opposite and can be very inspiring. Once you begin to discover what makes you thrive, you are happier and healthier from the inside out. In this state of being, it becomes easier to be consistent in caring for others, serving others and to value others. While it is possible to do these things while neglecting yourself, that sacrifice is done out of duty, obligation and even tradition. This can result in feelings of great emptiness and loneliness. Self-Care is simply coming into a place of knowing that you are a significant and important being in the world, and that you were created to be unique and do amazing things during your lifetime. You can achieve this without neglecting yourself. In fact, the more you learn to love who you are and to understand the power in you, your purpose as a human being, and as a man, will begin to manifest itself to you.

What would you like to do with your life? How can you think, plan and manifest Self-Care into your life? Believe it or not, the only person who can stop you from being happy, whole and successful is you. You may have to remove negative people and energy from your life. It is a wonderful discovery, that you can come to the realization that you may have to disconnect from things and people that make you feel bad about yourself, your life and your dreams. Use this journal to start planning the road to self-love. Write down your goals and objectives and how you plan to execute them. Think on it, plan for it, and allow it to manifest in your life. Thoughts are powerful. Words are powerful. The power is in you to live a loving, prosperous and peaceful existence. It always has been.
