More Description
The story follows a man named Gregor Samsa who wakes up one morning to find that he's been transformed into a giant bug. At first, he's horrified, but then he realizes that this might not be such a bad deal after all. He can crawl on the walls and ceilings, he's got more legs than he knows what to do with, and he's finally free from his soul-sucking job as a traveling salesman.
But things start to go downhill when his family freaks out and tries to get rid of him. They lock him in his room and stop feeding him, and Gregor starts to feel more like a prisoner than a bug. He spends his days trying to figure out how to communicate with his family and explain that he's still the same person inside, but it's a losing battle.
In the end, Gregor passes away, and his family is relieved. They clean up his room and start their lives anew, completely forgetting that they once had a son/brother/uncle who was a bug.
So, the moral of the story is: be careful what you wish for, because you might just wake up as a bug.
