Trying to get back on her feet, Brooke takes a job at the local nutrition shop, run by Mike Gwenlynski. Mike has a reputation for being the town's go-to guy for nutritional advice. Things seem to calm down for Brooke-until she starts finding body parts.
Somewhere out there, a serial killer sees the town as his own personal killing field and smorgasbord. It's apparent to even the unimaginative local law enforcement they've got a cannibal on their hands, but who is it? The disappearance and then partially chewed reappearance of Patty make Brooke a prime suspect. And as the body count mounts, all evidence points to Brooke Sunter.
