More DescriptionAccording to Dr. Philip Sesay, Jesus Christ commanded his followers to ¿go into all the world and make disciples of all nations.¿ Today, 400 years after the Gospel first arrived in Sierra Leone, only 15% of the country¿s people identify themselves as being Christian. The author suggests that if the Church in Sierra Leone is to grow, it must embrace a new, indigenous form of evangelism that expects every believer to live out and share their faith with their family and friends both at work and in the hospitality of their homes. In this small book, Dr. Sesay challenges the Christian Church to set aside what remains of colonial culture and allow the message of the Gospel to enter and transform the culture of Sierra Leone from within, including sharing the Gospel with those in the Muslim community. Sesay believes that if Jesus¿ vision for evangelism and discipleship were to be adopted by every Church leader and every church member, the Christian faith would spread, the Church would grow and the people and culture of the entire nation would be the better for it.
