Keith Hernandez was born on October 20, 1953 in San Francisco, California. He is a former first baseman who played most of his career with the World Series-winning Major League teams, St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets. Some of his other awards include earning eleven consecutive Gold Gloves and the National League co-MVP Award. After retiring from the game, he has worked in television broadcasting as an analyst on Mets telecasts for the SNY, WPIX, and MSG networks and is a member of the FOX Sports MLB postseason studio team.
