More DescriptionThe health sciences have devoted efforts, throughout the historical process, to the understanding of the health-disease process in the human individual and the proposition of increasingly safe and effective therapies. The man is a complex being in their plurality of lifestyles and thoughts. From the perspective of the anthropology of health, we cannot fully and accurately understand a portion of the man if it is apart from the whole being, and, consequently, we cannot accurately perceive the whole without the in-depth and specialized knowledge of the parties. This view has led professional practices to search for knowledge from several perspectives to build theoretical foundations that provide effective multidisciplinary vision interventions. Hence, the International Multiprofessional Congress on Health brings its seventh edition as a theme explored by different areas and visions: Inflammatory Diseases in a Multiprofessional Perspective. The following chapters will address different facets of the inflammatory process, as a result of an infectious process, tissue injury, or even psychosomatic mediated by delicate biochemical processes, in addition to innovatively proposing different technologies, prophylaxis, and therapies. Therefore, this book aims to support the reader of scientific information that awakens him to build a broad and connected knowledge, having interdisciplinarity a superior integration stage where unified theory and practice can bring value impact on patients' lives.
