This book tells the story of my experience becoming a first time mum.

More Description
This book tells the story of my experience becoming a first time mum.
In this memoir I talk about the challenges I faced whilst breastfeeding my baby and how I overcame them. It is a means by which I can tell you the truth, my truth, which may or may not be different to the experience of other women. However, I believe many important things are left unsaid and whilst they are hard to say, they should be spoken of. Trouble is, hardly anyone ever does.
The aim of this book is not to put you off breastfeeding nor encourage you to do so, there is enough pressure on that out there already. I wouldn't dare try to persuade you one way or the other because that happened to me whilst I was pregnant, and I hated it. In this, there is no golden rule, we are all different people and what is good or possible for me, might not be for you and vice versa.
I am no expert but in this book I tell you about my experience and every single trick I learned to ease the pain I felt with breastfeeding. I hope that when you finish reading, you are empowered to put these tips into practice and they work for you as well as they did for me.
If by any chance they don't, and you still find you can't breastfeed or you decide to do combined feeding I hope this book gives you the courage to understand that it is ok too.
Just remember, it is your baby, your breasts and all you can do is your best.
