Do you know about cable and telephones?" George: " I think that they were better off in my day. The industrious poor could rise out of the poverty they were in. We did not give them anything. We let them earn pay and land. Land with which they could become successful and independent based off of they fruits of their labors.Me " We do things differently now. Our leaders believe that the poor are victims and unable to fend for themselves."
