About the author: Discoverer of gold on a remote island in the South China Sea, the author operated a gold mine there until a rash of killings forced closure. He also mounted five expeditions in search of the worlds largest treasure, the Yamashita Gold. These experiences inspired GOLD FEVER, his first novel. Dr. Stern lives in California with his wife, Yolanda & four children.
