If you know someone who is a lover of cheese and wine then this is the perfect gift. It is a record/logbook of their best combinations of the cheese and wine they have tasted and decided go together the best.
Over two pages they can fill in their logbook with the type, county, taste, texture of both the cheese and the qualities of the wine. It also has room for any snacks/ food added to the mix, whether they preferred an apple, celery, salami, olives etc. and they can note down what made the cheese and wine tasting the perfect match.
Once they has found the perfect match of cheese and wine (or fortified wine) they can note down this combination and be able to recreate it again and again!!
It's so easy to forget what cheese you bought or the snacks that accompanied the cheese and wine so perfectly. Now with this logbook they will have a book with all of this information in.
The logbook has a star rating out of 10 as to how good the cheese was on its own, how high the wine rated on its own and then how paired together they scored out of 10.
