More DescriptionNONSENSO is an allegorical, coming-of-age, post-apocalyptic, sci-fi story of a 12-year-old boy who has been wronged, abused, and misunderstood all his life by his mother, people, and society as a whole. Malyk was born in the wrong place at the wrong time. His unique heart and bright mind are threats to him as the Junkyard Man describes it, "Malyk, your mind is not safe in this world, neither is your heart." An emotional, spiritual, psychological, and philosophical journey from a 12-year-old boy's point of view. NONSENSO is a dystopian sci-fi world where reality gives us an insight into what has become of us-humans, an insight into what modernity has done to us. NONSENSO is a story of love and hatred, of hope and disappointment, of joy and sorrow, of laughter and mourning, of beauty and ugliness, of war and peace. It's a journey of healing and finding one's own path.
Malyk never intends to unveil the Capitol's long-buried secrets or cause the system to fall apart. That is not his intention. That is not what he wants. All he wants is for questions to go away, to leave him alone.
Yet, Malyk wakes up one day to find himself chased by all the law enforcement there is. He doesn't have any option but to leave his home one night and run away to seek refuge in the only person he knows he can trust, the Junkyard Man. The latter knows he has to move Malyk from the junkyard to a safe place, to the Tunnels specifically. There, in the Tunnels, a group of ten strangers, led by the Bearded One, come from nowhere and storm into the Tunnels, offering to smuggle Malyk out of the well-walled Atlanta to a safe place, to the Hive in Old Russia. Malyk, due to twelve years of disappointment, maltreatment, and misunderstanding from his mother, people, and society in general, doesn't even trust himself or people he knows, let alone ten strange men who look like marauders, but he has no other choice but to relent.
From the junkyard to the Hive in Old Russia, Malyk takes every chance he gets to go back in time to certain events in his past, events that marked his life and shaped the way he sees the world. Little did he know his entire world would be turned upside down with little remaining but NONSENSO.
