His vehicle was run into by the driver of a stolen car, which was being chased by police cars and a helicopter. It was thought that the stolen car was travelling at extremely high speeds, failed to negotiate a 'T' junction and rammed into Blake's BMW that was travelling along the A56.Police investigating the incident thought that Blake was an innocent party in this unfortunate accident, with the other driver dying at the scene. It had been reported that Blake had suffered a severe fractured skull and had a swelling of the brain, as a consequence. Blake was taken to hospital and had to be placed into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) by doctors, who put him into a coma.According to records. Wilson Johns (the model Blake Waters) managed to pull through the critical phases of his brain swelling and was woken from the coma by the doctors. He was moved from the ICU to a recovery ward.Amanda Barry, his girlfriend, moved in with Wilson and quickly found that he was a positive minded individual and keen to move on in life.
