More DescriptionMy name is Randy McDonald, and I have not always made the best decisions in life, like many people. The only thing different is that I had a child to die of cancer, had a horrific car accident, balancing children through chemotherapy and had to make difficult decisions involving my handicap wife. The decisions that I made when I was young affected the decisions I made later in life. One day for therapy I started recounting my life events and shared them with others facing difficult times. In the hopes of helping others, I compiled these events into a book that reflected decisions that I made. This book is about relationships, drug abuse, depression, hope and my love for God. Many people have come to me in making decisions in life and ask my advice through my experience. I have also been asked to write this book with the hopes it will help others along the way. In fighting this battle with my son's cancer, I had to balance life between two children while being a single parent. I was a single-parent, and there was no way that I could have made it without the support of hundreds of people that God put in my path. During this time I had an older son that brought negative attention to himself since he felt left out and alone. My job was to balance these issues and bring a family together. This book also reflects my anger after the death of my son and how it affected my ability to function in everyday life. Many people have faced a stressful event in life. However, I have faced many. I could use these life events to drown myself in self-pity or use them to help others. God spared me through life for a reason. I hope you enjoy the book and if you are facing difficult times, it inspires you to move forward.
