More DescriptionLost and Found Bruce was involentairly plunging down a raging river. He had no idea why he was there. He didn't even know who he was. Time and again the tried to access the river canyon rim only to be foiled by mother nature. With the help of a misty vision he escaped the river only to find himself in a duel with the hostile desert. Heat and dehydration took their toll, but the misty vision continued to help in times of desperation and danger. Hikers found him, a thin, dehydrated, unwashed, shrunken body, and delivered him to help. Mind blurred he struggled to remember even his name. Finally realizing he had witnessed a crime and was dumped in the river by the perpetrators he became focused on revenge which put him and anyone close to him in grave danger. Once again he was struggling in the water, struggling for his life. Finders Keepers Earl explored remote desert canyons for the pure pleasure he derived from finding natures architectural wonders and signs of ancient civilizations. To his amazement he came upon a large treasure of old gold coins. Researching their history he found they were either the loot from a mint robbery a hundred years ago or according to the dates on the coins, they did not exist. In an effort to solve the mystery he was identified by a small gang that knew of the coins. They were determined to have them by fair means or foul, preferably foul. Earl had his work cut out for him retrieving the coins from the deseert and keeping them out of the hands of the gang. If that wasn't enough he had to deal with a federal claim to the coins if they were, in fact, the coins taken from the mint over a hundred years ago.Two desert stories sure to be praised by those who love outdoor adventure and conflict.
