More DescriptionSince 2016, the math section of the SAT has represented an accumulation of mathematical topics that bridge the gap between core high school proficiencies and the concepts necessary for success at the collegiate level and beyond. Accordingly, the PSAT in its current form has been designed to serve as a well-rounded snapshot of this exam and give college-bound students an opportunity to preview the concepts with which they will be held accountable for when they take the actual SAT. The college board has broken down the test into 4 core categories: Heart of Algebra, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, Passport to Advanced Math, and Additional Topics in Math. The IES PSAT Math Practice Book has been designed to prepare students with the content knowledge required to be successful in each of these categories. This is accomplished by breaking down the concepts in each category to the core mathematical principles necessary to successfully navigate not only their most basic iterations, but the most intricate multi-step variations that can be expected on the actual SAT. Note: this workbook is best used in conjunction with a tutor or PSAT prep course; only answer keys are provided.
