More DescriptionQuinn was a descendant of the Kintar, horsemen who commanded a large country that ranged from the fringes of Kithay eastward to Solace, the Rowayn Valley, and beyond to the sweeping plains near Shadow's Reach. Before the Cataclysm this immeasurable land was known as Kintarn. People here lived in a feudalistic society ruled by gods, governed by lords, and policed by a code of chivalry. Their massive Rimwall stretched to the sky, extending uncountable leagues east and west, unbroken and untested by any enemy. After the Cataclysm they weren't prepared to respond to enemies popping up after every death like a malignant cancer.Once towering cities were crippled and laid barren by WitchBorn. Frontier fortresses rotted and were abandoned. The Kintar became nomads, clomping through prairie grasses in frigid weather and riding vast distances to hunt ever-diminishing game. It's for the protection of these people, Quinn established the Paladins. They are a secretive religious order that ride together for the safety and range a saddle brings. Paladins wear distinctive white mantles with a red sigil and follow a loose military structure, though women and children swell their ranks. They do their best to honor Quinn's plan against burgeoning numbers of WitchBorn.
