Later they have three sons, but the third son has this same disease. He will never walk and is in a wheelchair. Jedidiah is captured by rebels rescued by the Wild Tribe and nearly dies before he is taken to the mission hospital. Julie and Matthew go to Guatemala to bring him home, but find that he is given a girl from the wild tribe who cannot return home until she is pregnant. Jedidiah refuses her. The book ends with Jedidiah and Julie returning home with the Wild Tribe girl, but there is drama at home. Then in the second novel about the missionary Barrington on and off the mission field in the rain forest of Guatemala. Senor Barry tells Julie Ann his true name is Jedidiah and is such in the rest of the story. Read the book to find out the ending. The author's parents were missionaries to Tibet before it became part of China. It was a family of six that went to Tibet but their four cousins plus their parents were already established there. The eight cousins had many and varied exciding adventures. Back in the States to finish school, this author met and married and together went to the mission field in Africa., There they served their Lord for 47 years, mostly with Bible lessons and Biblical printed matter. They retired at the end of 2000. After retirement, this author had time to write. There are now three books in print with more to come.
