- Takes account of changes in the exam, notably changes away from a traditional MCQ exam to a format using Individual Statements and Extended Matched Items (ISQ's and EMI's). The dropping of the Part 1 clinical is another very significant change to the examination, and the replacement of this by the OSCE (Objective structured clinical examination) exam means that two entirely new chapters have been provided.
