More DescriptionThis book is about kid's foot health written by a pedorthist. It explicates the foot structure and its mechanics from an animator's viewpoint since the author used to be a Disney Feature animator. Animators know how to analyze movements with weight and gravity reaction force, and cannot miss any subtle movements in order to draw out natural movement for big screens. This trait helped the author in discovering of the tarsal joint in need of proper orthotics to keep it from falling and subtle compensatory behaviors the human body does on the fallen tarsal joint; these compensatory behaviors have been prevented to perform the exact physical balance test on the human body. This book also records how the arch area of the small foot is constructed to handle the entire body weight, and the importance of using the orthotics under the arch that aligning the anklebones can keep the tarsal joint from falling and utilize the arch area for weight bearing; because the fallen tarsal joint tilts the anklebone on which the entire body stands. This misaligns the entire body structure out of alignment from feet up and causes foot problems and other mechanical problems throughout the entire body. With this, this book points out the cause of many foot problems and their solutions. Soon she realized that the tarsal joint of the foot start falling when kids start to stand and walk at around the age of one year old and start deforming those small feet as well.
