Samantha Phillips was meeting her long time friend and college room mate Amanda Hanson for a long overdue vacation-a cruise around the islands of Hawaii. Sam's and Mandy's lives had diverged greatly since they departed the university. Sam had a successful photography studio in Colorado as well as some success as an artist with her camera. Mandy was a moderately successful actress in Hollywood.As they met in Honolulu, they joked about making sure that they avoided any "shipboard romances." Neither wanted their current lives upset by entanglements with someone who would subsequently disappear when the cruise was finished.However, when Ryan Tanner appeared at their dinner table the first night of the cruise, there was no denying the attraction between him and Sam. Then a former boyfriend of Sam's also appears and seems insistent to restart his relationship with Sam. She tries to discourage his presence, but Mandy isn't so sure that she wants that to happen.Can either, or possibly both, of these shipboard romances endure when the ship returns to Honolulu?
