Do you have a love/hate relationship with planners? I have tried many over the years, but being the adult ADHD "Goldlilocks" that I am, I've never found one that is just right for the way I think. More Description Do you have a love/hate relationship with planners? I have tried many over the years, but being the adult ADHD "Goldlilocks" that I am, I've never found one that is just right for the way I think. I find that they try to do it ALL, cramming everything under the sun into one planner, like health, financial, budget, habits, and on. I just need a planner without all the "fluffy" stuff.
And so I set out to create it myself, which is how I came up with the idea for
planUR time! This is a "get down to business" type of planner, for people like me who don't need or want extra distractions. I also feel like just because things have been done a certain way doesn't mean that works for everyone. Have you ever wondered why there are 100 notepages at the END of the planner? I am a mad scribbler, and it's very inconvenient to flip to the end and never have enough space in the actual planner pages. The "standard" way is
NOT always practical.
The planUR time is designed to help you stay on track each day, week, and month. It does NOT prompt you with Goals, To Do Lists, Gratitude, blah, blah, blah, but the focus is on your TIME expenditure, or planning "UR" time!
What's included in the planUR time?
- Yearly Reference Calendars for current and next year.
- Annual Year at a Glance - For the most important dates & events
- Monthly Calendar - I like to see the BIG picture for the month. I prefer dated, but undated is an option as well.
- Hybrid Planner - Why choose between a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly planner? I like bits of each, so this is designed with two days on each page for your schedule, with space between for your notes for quick scribbles, your Big 3 tasks each day, and your "Wish" to do list for the things that aren't urgent.
- MindDump Pages - I've generously scattered notepages throughout the planner instead of piling them all up at the end. Use them to jot down notes, scribble, and everyday jottings.
Additionally, there are the following "Time Review" items which are optional, but can be very helpful way to reflect and assess where you used your time, and how it could be spent better.
- Monthly Time Review (at the end of each month)
- 90-Day Time Review (at the end of each quarter)
- End of Year Time Review (at the end of each year)
This is a quarterly, or 90-day planner. That means you'll need a new one for each quarter, unless you'd prefer carrying arround a 400 page book! And if you get bored easy like me you'll love starting with a fresh new planner every quarter!
Enjoy your TIME with planURtime!
