Carol Queen is a journalist, speaker, and activist who organized one of the first gay youth clubs in America.

Bi any Other Name, Leatherwoman, and Bisexual Women Speak Out are among the anthologies that Queen's work has appeared in. She is a columnist for the East Bay Express, and her articles can also be read in such magazines as Penthouse, On Our Backs, and Libido.
