More DescriptionThis tale is written in the modern-day English language for better understanding. The people of that time period had their own language, form of government, and way of life. Since it is a fictional story... about imaginary people... brought to life in my mind, I ask you to imagine this is a modern-day subtitle... of this magical, unidentified Kingdom's story. This a tale of a small orphan girl placed at the doorstep of a Nobleman of the Chantelle Kingdom. She lives among the household of a Nobleman but is neither a servant nor a member of the family. She is taught martial arts by the Nobleman's sons and is later captured by a warring Kingdom.Lorelei escaped her captors and returned to the Manor. After her return, King Chang of the Chantelle Kingdom and her brothers devised a plan to send an envoy to the Shasta Kingdom to request the return of the captured members of the family. King Chang adopted Lorelei, and now as a Princess of the Kingdom, he sent her along with Jared and Tiree Chang to make the request to the Shasta King. The idea had been successful, and the four family members were returned unharmed.Lorelei was now a Princess, but she wanted no part of this life. Life in the Palace was dangerous, as Lorelei was about to discover!
