This book was written as a response to the author's Master of Divinity thesis, titled "Effective Contextualization of the GospelMessage in Predominately African Muslim Communities." One of the panel members asked for practical ways to do this contextualization in Muslim communities. This book is an attempt to flesh out an answer to the question of practical contextualization in Muslim Ministry. The book reviews Muslim doctrines and explores ways to communicate the Christian gospel in a way that Muslims can hearand understand. Additionally, this book analyzes practical ways for the Christian church to welcome Muslim Background Christians and provide a nurturing place for discipleship.The book is to serve as handbook for missionary doing missions in predominately Muslim communities. In order of witness effectively in Muslim community it expedient to understand some of the worldview and teachings of the Islamic adherents. The book analyses the six article of Islam and the five pillars of Islam in detail, also answers the question of practical ways tocontextualize gospel messages in Muslims communities. The book analyzes the practical ways to disciple Muslim backgroundChristians, the book also analyzes the practical ways to contextualize the doctrine of Allah, Isa Al-Maseeh, some of traditions in Islam that were not recommended by Al-Quran and the role of effective communication making use of Max Warren's principles of effective communication. The trinity concept in Al-Qur'an is also explained in detail and the issue of absolute oneness of Allah.The author wants to tear down the walls of suspicion, ignorance, stereotypes, and judgment that has for too long served as barriers to healthy dialogue and witness. And I think it is safe to say that I believes that it is critical to love the adherents of Islam unconditionally, rather than love them IF they change.
