More DescriptionRace Talk? America Coursebook Manual is a structured program that is designed for individuals interested in learning and presenting issues like bigotry, diversity, racial/social equity and justice, racism, implicit bias, critical race theory, economic disparity, hatred, discrimination, inclusion, microaggressions, mixed race families, tribalism, transcending race, intersectionality, gender issues - sexual identity, homelessness, white identity politics, and white supremacy. There are 101 topics in this manual designed to increase mindful communication and develop more sensitivity across racial, ethnic, cultural, and social paradigms. This program includes a series of topics that have been developed on a single page for easy review, research, and discussion. The general course work is a collective series of studies from authors in sociology, psychology, philosophy, political science, new age ideology, spirituality, history, humanities, and economics. The recommended reading list for each topic is listed in the reference section and will include other authors from various academic fields. We have developed guidelines for presenters who also identify as "facilitators" with a mission to guide discussions on a variety of current and relevant topics in their community. A facilitator is a guide whose mission is to deliver or share the content of the topic to the audience of participants. Afterward, a discussion begins where participants share their opinion and commentary about the topic discussed. An opinion is a view or judgment about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. Diversity training programs generally focus on teaching inclusion and tolerance. This is a general interpretation from the perspective that "we are all the same and should treat everyone the way that we would like to be treated." Education, race, class, and wealth define one's social status. In other words, our economic profiles are different - all these things influence our beliefs and values in society. We believe that individuals are more tribal than racial.WHY TEACH TOLERANCE?We have several topics on Mindful Communication and Mindfulness located at the back of the Beyond Humanity Series. To change your beliefs, you must be willing to GROW. EVOLVE. CHANGE.
