John Litva earned his Ph.D. in Physics from University of Western Ontario.

Dr. John Litva is director of the Communications Research Laboratory and professor of electrical and computer engineering at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. A principal investigator and thrust leader with the Telecommunications Research Institute of Ontario (TRIO), he also serves as a consultant to both government and industry.
