Bases of radiology (a structure and disintegration of atom, formation of radioactive beams, methods of definition, and an estimation of their characteristics) are presented in this book. For the first time in a complex also features of radiating influence on the person from all known sources (natural radiation, diagnostics and treatment, some manufactures, atomic power stations, nuclear and hydrogen bombs, "dirty bomb," radiating waste) are multilaterally shined. Attributes of early and late outcomes of radiating influence, modern methods of their diagnosis, deference treatments, and preventive maintenance are accessible and full stated. All of these methods are united under the heading "Minimization of Consequences from Radiation." The role of an active position of the population, including victims, in perfection of diagnostics, improvement of an outcome of an irradiation, and the preventive maintenance based on medical literacy is underlined.
