Each of us has a ray that burst forth from the Father's heart when he spoke our name with the word Love. If we follow this ray, which is his will for us, what he lovingly desired, and continues in each moment to desire for us, we will become what we are in the mind of God from all eternity. An internationally known religious leader and writer, Italian-born Chiara Lubich (1920-2008) was president of the Focolare Movement. Her work has been recognized by universities, agencies, foundations, nations, states, and municipalities including 15 honorary doctorates, numerous civic awards, and the Templeton Prize for Progress of Religion (1977) and the UNESCO Peace Prize (1996).
