Besides being personalized logbooks and journals, these books serve humanitarian needs. For example, in some countries, it is very difficult to obtain journals, except via mail order from established companies.
If you have any loved ones who is incarcerated, this may be the only reasonable way they can obtain paper for personal logs or even for penning their own books. Some prisons only allow inmates to receive books from commercial book sellers, not from private parties.
We will have Amazon or CreateSpace send books directly to people in these and other circumstances. You can order the personalize or Non-personalized books and have as few as one printed and sent to someone at a Very reasonable price. We can personalize a book and make it available to you or your friend, even if only one is sold, and the price for that is amazingly reasonable.
You see, ordinarily, it is only profitable for a book publisher to print them in lots of 1,000 or more. Thus, one book costs as much as 1,000.
We have changed that whole paradigm. We can afford to print only one book and even pay our designer to customize it for you.
So if your name is Mary Smith and you have 15 people to give books for Christmas, "From the Heart of Mary Smith", you can get plenty of additional copies at the same price.
If you're fortunate and someone else has created a standard book whose cover you like, you don't even need to pay our designer for the first book!
If you have an unusual name or you want to use a different cover design, we pay our designer and you are charged a one-time fee from $15 to $55.
You can order a bunch of books in the name of your organization, or emblazoned with your name, as gifts.
The standard size is 250 pages. You can have them smaller or larger, all blank, all with lines or some of each.
Pretty simple. A few years ago, you'd spend $5,000 to $20,000 for a single book and get thousands of them to store in your garage. Now, you can get one for under $20.
