Howard Markman is a professor and co-director of the Center for Marital and Family Studies at the University of Denver. He is also the president of the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program designed to help troubled couples.
Markman has written several books on conflicts in relationships including "Fighting for Your Marriage: Positive Steps for Preventing Divorce and Preserving a Lasting Love" and "We Can Work It Out: How to Solve Conflicts, Save Your Marriage, and Strengthen Your Love for Each Other." Markman has also been a guest on 20/20, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and 48 Hours.
