River and her crew are running to catch up with the invaders and learn what they are and where they came from. She must deal with old enemies who now must become allied with her in their fight to save the galaxy. The Fargons will fall victim to this invasion with the loss of an entire region of their empire. Old enemies, old hates, old memories will follow her as she fights desperately to overcome this new invasion. Each step, each move must be measured and taken carefully, but time is their enemy as well. To long in any one task and they could lose it all.
