A true story of police corruption. _ A young police officer from the City of Roanoke, Virginia, is at the very top of his rookie class in the police academy in 1983._ His name is Officer George Roland Wills._ He is then subsequently victimized by two other police officers, one of whom is his academy director supervisor, and the other one who will eventually be made into such a supervisor. _ The academy director, who was strangely absent on the day in question, supplied an actual firearm and then allowed Officer George Roland Wills to be shot in the face with a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver firing blank cartridges during a 10-16 domestic dispute classroom practical, during which his eyes were contaminated with gunpowder. _ This lieutenant then reprimanded Officer Wills for seeking medical treatment despite having the permission of the visiting class detective to go to the ER to be checked out. _ The shooting was never investigated by the police department, and was immediately concealed by Chief Hooper, without any police report, case number, investigation, affidavit from the victim, nor anyone else. _ That was the first attack. _ The second attack was made by a fellow rookie officer classmate, and it was committed against Officer Wills after hearing that Officer Wills was to get his very own police car upon graduation; an unheard of honor in those days._ The attacker threw an ice chunk as a missile and nailed the victim in the groin, incapacitating him for over an hour. _ The attacker was never arrested for that charge of a sixth class felony assault, which carries a mandatory six months in jail upon conviction. _ Nor was the attacker ever fired from the academy and the police department. _ Officer Wills was fired, instead, for no reason given. _ Chief Milton David Hooper informed Officer Wills in person that his time with the city was to be falsified; that his excellent grades and his excellent performance evaluations were to be destroyed, and that the chief would then falsely allege that Officer Wills had not passed his probation with the police department in a satisfactory manner. _ But the attacker was soon after very mysteriously promoted - apparently above every one else in the class - to the very top of the police department. _ And after that, the entire 1983 rookie class just seems to have disappeared completely into history, themselves. _ None of them appear in rank, anywhere, as far as Officer Wills could ever determine. _ The attacker seems to be the only one who was left on the force from that 1983 graduating class. _ The attacks against Officer George Roland Wills appear to have led Chief Hooper to terminate Officer Wills in order to cover for the felony crimes of his two far more preferred police attackers.
