More DescriptionRUINS - After the Suicide is a work of fiction. It tells the story of a JEE aspirant named Ryan.Ryan is an eighteen years old boy puzzled with his injuries he suffers after he falls off the roof of his hostel building. Friends, relatives and neighbors visit him in flocks with gifts, get well soon cards and fruits. Everyone seems to be so concerned over his health and well-being and yet he recognizes few. Despite everything that they do to make him feel better and comfortable, he only says that he remembers nothing. Most of them who visits him ask what had happened. But, he is helpless. He remembers little what might have happened previously. People on the other side of the wall whispers about a possible suicide attempt which seems convincing enough after he fails to clear the JEE MAINS. But, a Suicide? He may have lost his memory now and sometimes mind in the past too. But, a suicide was never an option to him. Patience was his strongest suit, he remembers that well. However, people believe what the eyes see and here in front of them are his injuries, severe and life threatening. To them Ryan seems to be telling lies when he says he couldn't have attempted suicide for failing to qualify in a stupid entrance test. So, either he can believe in their versions of truth or defend his lies. But, the best thing would be to recall his past.
