More DescriptionThe Iranians have closed the Persian Gulf. The ailing President wants to support an Air Attack, but the Iranian's purchase of the Russian Advanced S-400 Air Defense System has overcome the current arsenal of Anti-Air Defense Systems. Vice President Andrea Herder, whom everybody in her party dislikes, has a solution. She has put new Anti-Air Defense missiles on the submarine USS Illinois. The USS Illinois, unknown to the Iranians, is sunk. The submarine USS Pittsburgh is tasked towing the USS Illinois, which is on the bottom of the Persian gulf with no propulsion, out of the Persian Gulf.
The USS Pittsburgh secretly sneaks into the Persian Gulf and starts sinking ships, making the Iranians think it is the USS Illinois.
The State Department is totally fooled by the Iranians who supposedly are giving up all their nuclear weapons capability only to have them secretly replaced by the Chinese. The State Department stops all War ship activity in the Gulf.
The Vice President is shut out by the President's staff.
The Iranians start a small, but nuclear war, with the Sunni neighbors and the Israelis.
As the war starts, Pittsburgh pulls Illinois off the bottom. Instead of returning the Guam, Pittsburgh tows the Illinois where she can use her missiles, then pulls off to launch its own attack and cover for the Illinois. The Illinois missiles work, and the allies pummel the Persian Caliphate and Iran, and only the Vice President can stop them. She gets things under control then she is pushed out by the President's Staff.
The war is over, and the heavily damaged USS Pittsburgh tows the USS Illinois to Guam.
