Manfred, Frederick (Author)
John Rezmerski was born in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. He attended graduate school at the University of Kansas at Lawrence. He was a professor at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota for more than 30 years, retiring in 2002. He taught courses in creative writing, journalism, literature, linguistics, and storytelling. He was also a poet and storyteller. He wrote or contributed to about 20 books of poetry including Cataloging the Flow: Elegy; What Do I Know?: New and Selected Poems; Held for Questioning: Poems; and Breaking the Rules: Starting with Ghazals. He died of complications from a stroke on November 5, 2016 at the age of 74.
