More Description What does the theoretical experiment "Schrödinger's Cat" have to do with weight loss?
The abstract of an indefinite "cat state", in which Schrödinger's Cat finds itself, is applied by the author in a new way to the decision-making process as it is possible for humans through contemplation and cognition.
The named state of "superposition" basically represents a preliminary phase of any decision and is extrapolated from the theoretical-atomic level of the experiment to the decisions in daily life. Daily micro-decisions form a chain and can determine, for example, whether we develop unhealthy obesity.
To further simplify the pictorial association with the famous cat, the author uses the variables "0" for the preliminary phase, and the variable "1" for the decision made, and thus its expression.
It is explained how and why it makes sense to take "Schrödinger's Cat" as a model to return to the original indeterminacy of the direction of our actions that determine our lives, in order to follow a new path of better decisions - and what the much praised intuition has to do with it.
However, this study is only one part of the book, which deals with the subject of weight loss from a holistic point of view...
Furthermore, the aspects are illuminated,
which diet trend can be harmful, and which influencing factors play a role in it
detailed reasons why most diets fail
why it's okay to exercise regularly, but it's no good forcing yourself to do it
what it really takes to get the focus in life away from food
why Peter's 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. Concept is more effective than other fasting intervals in intermittent fasting
why fasting intervals cannot be arbitrary
why it is important to stick to a good concept: according to how you can only go one way, and cannot go two ways at the same time if you want to move forward
what are the 7 subgoals of the Concept
why for severely overweight people a fundamental life and mood change is much more important than sports
why many people are slim even without sports, and therefore sports cannot be the ultimate solution
how an "inhibition of happiness" can arise, what consequences this has and how to dissolve this inhibition
what the "Marshmallow Experiment" has to do with binge eating and changing your own reward behavior
how to apply the "Pareto Principle" to Intermittent Fasting
why "Cheat Days" reinforce the wrong behavior
what you can do yourself to fundamentally change your life and how you can create the emotional and most important foundation for: persistent self-discipline
why this book is so special and can actually change your life if you take some time to think about it
what Peter's Reciprocal Suggestion is about and why it is a new way of obesity treatment from a mental and emotional perspective
how a glimpse into nature can help you better understand human eating habits
which foods are recommended and why "calorie density" is the most important consideration when making a choice
which is Peter's favorite bread and fish recipe
how Peter's Deep Meditation for the change of your appetite works
why this book critiques and exposes misconceptions, thereby improving the treatment of obesity
how this book promotes greater understanding of overweight people's eating behaviour.
