More DescriptionI believe there are certain things about our Heavenly Father that are only communicated to those who can be trusted and are loyal. Not everyone wants to be intimate with God and not everyone will know His secrets. From a spiritual standpoint, we can put limits on what we want to know about God. We can be afraid to know too much, because we know that with it come responsibilities.
Most families have secrets, which they may pass from generation to generation. Only the privileged and select are allowed access to this private and sacred information. There are things about God that some of His creation will never have access to because they lack knowledge of God.
It is not because they are not privileged. I meet people all the time that grew up in church. The extent of their Bible knowledge and understanding of God only extends to John 3:16. It says “for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Their knowledge of God goes no further. They only listen to the preacher preach. They’ve never read the Bible much themselves. You may hear them misquote scriptures or take something out of context to justify an area of their life. Praying is only turned to when they need God for something beyond their secular reach. Reading of the Word is definitely kept to a minimum.
In this manuscript, I make an attempt to reveal the depths of God that doesn’t come with being a casual religious inquirer. For those who diligently seek Him, He will reveal mysteries of the kingdom that make a person spiritually wealthy and valuable for His purposes
